Archer, who was once Hunter’s closest associate, is expected to provide evidence suggesting Joe Biden’s involvement in his son’s international business ventures. For instance, Biden has personally stated, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” and “I have never discussed, with my son or my brother or anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses. Period.”

The New York Post reports Archer’s deposition will include instances where Hunter dialed his father into business meetings, thus directly involving Joe Biden in discussions with foreign business associates.

The Oversight Committee’s investigation focuses on an alleged incident in 2015 involving a call between Joe Biden and Ukrainian Burisma executives during a meeting in Dubai. This interaction reportedly took place following a board meeting of Burisma, where Hunter was a director earning $83,000 monthly. These allegations are part of a larger scheme that reportedly involved the Bidens receiving $5 million each to ensure the firing of Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma for money laundering, tax evasion, and corruption.
