Ex-President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty in the Fulton County election interference case in Georgia.
Trump, along with 18 others, is accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Trump chose to waive his right to a formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty through a court filing.
The date for the trial is yet to be set, with Trump’s lawyers seeking to delay proceedings and District Attorney Fani Willis pushing for an early trial, possibly this fall.
