Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has announced further probes into the allegations surrounding the Biden family’s corrupt business dealings, promising to summon key figures associated with the family for depositions.

Comer stated, “We’re going to start bringing in key figures in the Biden family influence-peddling schemes for depositions, and I think we’re on the right track, even though we’re having to fight the FBI, fight the DOJ, fight the Democrats in Congress and fight the mainstream media.”

In line with this investigation, a subpoena was issued last week for Devon Archer, former business partner of Hunter Biden. Comer expressed determination to uncover more information, mentioning that their achievements so far were more than what was previously deemed possible, expressing, “I think we’ve done as much as we could do with the obstacles we’ve had to overcome… No one thought I would get bank records… but we would not take no for an answer.”

In a discussion on the alleged Biden / Ukraine corruption, Comer highlighted the FD-1023 document, which apparently chronicled a conversation between an FBI informant and the CEO of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company. According to the document, Joe Biden and his son Hunter allegedly accepted $5 million each in exchange for aid in a corruption investigation.

Comer went on to criticize the FBI’s refusal to release the form. He commented, “So if this is the case and the FBI informant’s that credible and the FBI informant tells the FBI that the vice president of the United States took a bribe from a foreign national… then why did the FBI not investigate it?”

Furthermore, Comer raised allegations that the FBI failed to investigate suspected wire transfers to nine Biden family members from Romania and China during Biden’s vice-presidency. He concluded by expressing his concern over a perceived pattern of federal government agencies overlooking potential wrongdoings associated with Biden. “They didn’t want to investigate the shell companies… And then we know the Department of Justice hasn’t done anything, so there’s a pattern here where the federal government, the deep state bureaucracies, have turned a blind eye to Joe Biden.”
