Two teachers with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA), a branch of the Pentagon that manages education for the children of service members, have accused the DOD schools of promoting Marxist indoctrination and woke social engineering. The teachers, who spoke to Fox News Digital anonymously for fear of retaliation, claim that alternative views about gender ideology and American history are not welcome in the DODEA and that many colleagues share their views but are afraid to speak out.
They claim that the school system has changed through its hiring, curriculum, and library book selection to promote left-leaning politics and that left-leaning propaganda was displayed when President Trump was in office. They argue that the school system is promoting social engineering through controversial library book selections and curriculum and that the school system is pushing anti-American ideas that need to be addressed.
