The family of George Watts Jr., a deceased 24-year-old college student, has filed a groundbreaking lawsuit against the Biden administration’s Department of Defense (DoD) following Watts’ tragic death after receiving Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine. Watts Jr. had been vaccinated in preparation for in-person classes, but after his second dose, he developed persistent flu-like symptoms. Initially diagnosed with a sinus infection, his health rapidly deteriorated. He started coughing up blood, experienced pain in his hands, feet, and teeth, and became extremely sensitive to sunlight. On October 27, 2021, Watts Jr. tragically collapsed in his room and died. The autopsy attributed his death to “COVID-19 vaccine-related myocarditis,” a rare but severe side effect associated with mRNA vaccines.

The lawsuit filed by the Watts family is aimed squarely at U.S. Department of Defense officials. The family accuses them of “willful misconduct” for their role in promoting the Covid-19 vaccines as “safe and effective.” The lawsuit contends that “By intentionally blurring the line of the critical distinction between ‘licensed’ and ‘experimental,’ DOD duped millions of Americans, including Mr. Watts, into being DOD’s human subjects in its medical experiment, the largest in modern history.”

The Watts family’s lawsuit alleges that the Pentagon orchestrated a mass-deception campaign, attempting to veil the experimental status of the vaccines. The Pentagon played a crucial role in the acceleration of vaccine production and distribution under Operation Warp Speed, which was later renamed the HHS-DOD COVID-19 Countermeasures Acceleration Group. The family points to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act, arguing that it provides the grounds for lawsuits against government entities like the Pentagon if they can be shown to have engaged in “willful misconduct.”

An underlying claim in this lawsuit is that the vaccines were effectively forced upon young individuals who were at low risk from the disease itself. Essentially, the Watts family argues, these young men and women were used as “human subjects” for an experimental vaccine, despite Covid-19 posing little risk to them.

Supporting this contention is Dr. Liviu Klein, Chief of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Klein states that men under the age of 30 were the most likely demographic to develop myocarditis after receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. The frequency of this occurrence was significant, with about 50 cases per million doses.

The heart of the lawsuit questions why perfectly healthy people like George Watts Jr. were effectively compelled to take a vaccine that offered protection against an illness that posed very little risk to them. The potential risk of the vaccine itself tragically materialized in Watts Jr.’s case, costing him his life.
