Fashion retailer J. Crew has come under fire from customers over its new toddler’s T-shirt which carries the message “love is for everybody.” Critics have accused the company of sexualizing children and pushing an LGBTQ agenda, with some high-profile customers announcing their attention to boycott the brand and return recently bought items.
The controversy extends beyond this specific T-shirt, as J.Crew is seen by many as deeply embedded in radical LGBTQ advocacy. Critics argue that the company has gone beyond simply including the conventional rainbow symbol associated with the LGBTQ community, moving towards the display of more niche symbols linked to the transgender community.
J. Crew is just the latest in a long line of corporate LGBTQ mouthpieces such as Bud Light, Kohls, and Target, which support the LGBTQ agenda with billions of dollars in donations. As a result, these brands have experienced tremendous financial losses due to Americans’ distaste for their politics.
