A new bombshell story of Biden family corruption has surfaced, in which the Biden family has been inextricably linked to the tyrannical and murderous Chinese Communist Party. The mainstream media–also unsurprisingly–refuses to cover it. Unlike many fantasies purported to be truth during the Trump era, this story has some tangible evidence: bank record receipts. According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), members of the Biden family and their companies received over $1.3 million in payments from accounts tied to their associate, Rob Walker, which were traced back to a wire from a Chinese energy company. Payments went to Hunter, James, and Hallie Biden, and an unknown “Biden.”
As is commonly known, Hunter Biden is already under federal investigation for his financial dealings, but this fresh revelation raises a lot of questions. What services did Hunter provide to a Chinese energy company to receive over $500,000 between March and May 2017? And what about James Biden, who got $360,000? Yet, the most bizarre aspect might be the $25,000 that went to Hallie Biden, the president’s daughter-in-law, who is employed as a private-school guidance counselor.
There’s also the mysterious $80,000 payment to an “unknown Biden.” Hunter’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski, has claimed that Joe Biden, allegedly referred to as “the big guy,” received a 10% cut of profits. However, Rep. Comer has not linked Joe Biden to these newly discovered payments.
When questioned about the payments, President Biden denied their existence, with no follow-up questions from reporters. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also refused to address the allegations. “When finally asked about the payments, President Biden said they never happened. Reporters asked no follow-up questions and did not point out that House Republicans say they have bank records that seem to suggest a different story. And when White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the Biden family’s alleged Chinese payments, she refused to answer, implying to a White House reporter that the accusations are a lie.”
If this story were about the Trump family, reporters would be all over it. But it’s not. It’s about the Biden family, and as a result, coverage has been scant. The Sunday morning political talk shows focused on the potential indictment of former President Trump, dedicating more than 46 minutes to it, while completely ignoring the Biden bank records story.
This is a classic, and egregious, example of bias of omission, where news organizations disregard newsworthy stories. The Biden-China story is crucial for several reasons, especially since China is now considered America’s number one adversary. Our approach to China has never been more critical in terms of national security, human rights, trade, economy, and technology. Yet, President Biden’s stance on some of these issues has appeared less than forceful.
Rep. Comer insists that more evidence will be released, but will the mainstream media give the Biden-China bank record story the attention it deserves? Based on what we’ve seen over the past two years or even the past two weeks, we should not hold our breath.
