Billionaire left-wing philanthropist George Soros is back in the news, and this time it’s all about his connection to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. With Bragg’s political indictment of former President Donald Trump, Soros is under the microscope for a $1 million contribution he made to a group supporting Bragg’s candidacy.

For the past two decades, Soros has been a major benefactor for liberal candidates and causes. But now, questions about his influence go beyond just him to organizations and family members pushing the same radical agenda. Although Soros claimed not to have contributed to Bragg’s campaign, his son and daughter-in-law both donated over $10,000 each.

Soros-founded Open Society Foundations has spent billions of dollars around the world, with a significant increase in U.S. activity in recent years. In 2021 alone, they spent $401 million on U.S. programs, up from $162 million in 2016. On the political side, Soros has contributed $128.5 million to support Democrat candidates in the 2022 midterms.

Soros’ financial support has opened doors in Washington, with his son Alexander scoring at least a dozen meetings with White House officials in 2022. When it comes to Biden policy and Soros policy, it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins, as they share similar stances on voting rights, immigration, criminal justice reform, and climate issues.

But these positions have proven to be both failed and dishonest. Biden’s attacks on voter suppression are a farce, his lawless immigration policy has created chaos at the border, the push for “reimagining policing” has caused crime to skyrocket, and the green new deal agenda has led to an inflation crisis.

Furthermore, Soros’ funding of left-wing district attorneys and local prosecutors has been detrimental to law and order. Despite this, Soros remains in denial, claiming that reform-minded prosecutors are more effective and just. Polls show that Americans are concerned about the rise in crime.

Soros has indicated he plans to continue supporting radical prosecutors; “perhaps most alarmingly, the tone-deaf Soros has indicated he’s planning to continue his assault on safe streets in the future. He boasted in the article that he has ‘no intention of stopping’ his support of radical prosecutors like Kimberly Gardner in St. Louis, Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, and Kim Foxx in Chicago.” If there’s a silver lining in the case of Alvin Bragg’s indictment of Donald Trump, perhaps it will be a refocus on the failed radical agenda of George Soros and his family, driving the Democrat Party’s dangerous lurch to the left in areas like crime, illegal immigration, and climate change.
